What to retain
Keep the before-and-after reports, device and laboratory details, measurement locations, dates, closed-building conditions when applicable, installer information, system diagram, and any maintenance instructions.
Independence and timing
Ask who will perform the measurement and whether that person is appropriately certified in Iowa. Follow the current protocol for system operating time, placement, and building conditions rather than choosing a convenient date.
If a result remains elevated
Confirm test validity and contact the responsible credentialed mitigation specialist for assessment. Do not infer a medical conclusion or redesign the system yourself.
