Useful observations
Record what changed and when. Note fan sound, indicator position, visible pipe or membrane damage, water intrusion, electrical changes, and the last test date. Do not open piping or enter unsafe areas.
Repair and measurement are different
A mitigation specialist evaluates and repairs the system. A measurement professional or appropriate test then evaluates indoor radon. The pressure indicator alone cannot supply a pCi/L result.
Questions for the specialist
Ask whether the issue is safety-critical, what will be changed, which credential holder is responsible, whether electrical or roof work is separate, and when post-repair testing should occur.
